This station is an innovative creation of young French pilot and geek. Less than 30 cm and 300 g, the station is completely plug and play: it requires neither electricity nor Internet, and can be installed in the most rural places (which some of our takeoffs certainly can be!). The weather data (wind speed and direction with minimum and maximum observed, pressure, temperature and humidity) are sent online and can be viewed from any device connected to the Internet.
Currently the station is only available in France, where it goes under a cute name Pioupiou (which is French for ‘tweet’: a little chick’s cry). Not an ideal name for English-speaking community, and for obvious reasons calling it Twitter wouldn’t work either!
So we need your creative insights!
Suggest a name for it in this poll and the best name's author wins one! [expected commercialization date outside of France is May 2015].
